Season 1 Week 1
Hi, it’s Tim with the “Evening Report” from the ‘Net Studio of Who Wants to be King of the Pride Lands! We had a thrilling game today, with some tense moments and some great contestants! Let’s recap the action: The day started out with Sharifu becoming our first contestant of the day. She earned that distinction by being the first to answer the following fastest-finger question: Fastest Finger Put the following TLK voice actors in order according to their age, starting with the youngest: A: Matthew Broderick <fu’ey>BADC She then caught fire, steamrolling through her questions like a maniac on a mission, and found herself looking at the $125,000 question with one lifeline left, her “phone-a-friend.” Let’s cut to the action! <Tim> Audra, you’re on a roll! Here you are with one lifeline left, and your $125,000 question coming up. Remember if you miss this, you’ll lose $93,000! $125,000 A: Chris Thomas Stu: thats evil xD Unfortunately for Audra, she missed the $250,000 question about Pumbaa’s bug dishes in TLK 1 ½, and dropped back down to $32,000. But it was a great run, and so far she’s gotten farther than anyone, so major props to her! The second game featured a very close fastest finger race between LucyLioness and Stu! Tim: Okay contestants, if you’re ready here’s the next fastest finger question: In TLK, put the following lines from the “Can You Feel the Love Tonight” scene in chronological order, starting with the earliest: Lucy: omg A: “She’d turn away from me” Stu: c,d,a,b Stu had to burn a lifeline early on a TLKOB question, but then answered 5 more questions in a row to look at the all-important $32,000 question with one lifeline left, his 50:50… let’s see how he did! Tim: For $32,000, A: A Snake in the Grass Stu: Crap, never read em. 50:50 please! C: Simba’s Dare All right Stu, 20 more seconds to mull it over. Stu: ahh gonna risk it all on here lol xD......D! But Stu still walked out with $1,000, which is not too shabby for his first time in the hot seat. That left us time for one more player, and it was Lucy Lioness again, the first player to make into the hot seat for the second time. And she was eager to better her fantastic $32,000 mark from last week’s show, and she was playing as well as ever, barreling through the first 9 questions having used NO lifelines at all! Tim: Lucy, here’s your $16,000 question. $16,000 A) Scar Tim: Now that’s confidence if I’ve ever
heard it, final answer? But the next question proved to be much too difficult for her, as Lucy had to burn 2 of her lifelines… let’s take a look at the mayhem that ensued! Tim: Lucy, you’re absolutely on FIRE!!! Going
for $32,000 and all of your lifelines intact. How do you feel? $32,000 A: Michael Ward Lucy: Mmm...bugger...can I phone Audra if she is still
there? A: Michael Ward Lucy: haha, not what I expected, No point asking the
audience so i will just guess So for the day, we had a couple of heartbreaking, tense moments at the $32,000 level with two contestants dropping all the way back to $1,000 milestone, and Audra who was only THREE questions away from a million dropped back to $32,000! I wish it had turned out a little better, but with guts comes glory, and all three of our contestants today proved that they had what it takes to go all the way! Thanks to all that came and hopefully we’ll see some fresh new faces in the studio next week!
