Here we are once again for the post-game show of Who Wants to be King of the Pride Lands! Today’s game was exciting as always and featured a contestant that broke through in a BIG way, and one daredevil player that threw caution to the wind! Let’s watch some footage from today’s episode... hold on to the edge of your seat! Tim: Welcome to week 14 of Who Wants to be King of the Pride Lands! Randy Reighard: HOLY COW!! And moreover she has racked up $740,000 in total winnings, good enough for 1st place! Randy Reighard: that's nuts!! With a $250,000 win today, you’ll be at $990,000 overall EVER so close to the million but let’s take it one question at a time, let’s play Who Wants to be King of the Pride Lands! <applause, cut> Audra got a little caught up on the $16,000 question and asked the herd for help... $16,000 A: Large Audra: Can I poll the herd? She then went on to steamroll the $32,000 question about Timon’s “beady” eyes in TLKOB, took a chance on the $64,000 when she could have used the “Audra Cheat” to get a free answer and correctly decided to save her double dip, and then was soon staring down a tough $125,000 question! <roaring applause> Audra! With that $64,000 win you’re now only TWO questions away, really, from being a virtual lock to win the game as you have $740,000 already in accumulated winnings. We could be seeing a new champion here in a matter of moments folks, let’s see the $125,000 question! <applause> $125,000 A: Germany Audra: Hmm Let’s explore your options – you have your phone a friend and your double dip left, so no “cheat” here but maybe there’s someone that would know this? <cut> And after using the Audra Cheat on the $64,000 question, that is what she walked away with. So Ciara did indeed break new ground multiply her winnings by 64 times! Great job, and you’ll be back in the hot seat soon. We still had a great many players vying for that coveted seat, so we went right along to Fastest Finger #3, and it was a “Pick Four”! Out of the following seven Simba lines, pick the four that he says in TLK II: Simba’s Pride: A: “Stay on the path I’ve marked for you” This Land Neale: acfg This Land Neale: oh yes Adam Neale had won $34,000 in the game thus far in three appearances and was itching to climb that leaderboard. But everyone was amazed he even was able to make it into the hot seat, as Adam had been awake for 35 consecutive hours! Surviving on red bull and various other forms of caffeine, he was quite wired. <cue TL’s game> Adam, buddy, you’re not going to fall asleep on
me are you? Yeah that would help! Let’s play for a million
bucks! $16,000 A: Duvet If you’re not sure Adam you still have ALL THREE of your lifelines at your disposal Lucy Parker: who needs lifelines when ya got red bull? D: Shower curtain, wow! for 35 hours before coming to the studio, it seems to be working very
well! Adam was far from done, in his bewildered state he pressed
on and on, taking chances and random guesses and got to the $125,000
question with no lifelines left. Ladies and gentlemen, may I repeat,
do NOT try this at home! <cue Adam’s $125,000 question> $125,000 A: The Winged Assembly This Land Neale: yepp^^ What is that? This Land Neale: I Have Never read em >< <Audience: LOL!> Oh you tease! I thought you were going to say “I just read that book YESTERDAY!” This Land Neale: wait ... Well in that case I highly advise you to walk away, being that you only have a 25% chance to get it right and that you’re risking $32,000 to do it! This Land Neale: exactrly So you’re going to take your $64,000 and run then,
final decision? Earth to Adam??? This Land Neale: im just gonna guess <audience gasps> Randy Reighard: oh MY!! WOW I can’t believe it, Adam you lose $32,000 if you are wrong! But I won’t stop you, what’s your answer? This Land Neale: C C: Buzzard Boyz. Final answer? This Land Neale: just a gues <lock in C: Buzzard Boyz> Adam, this is one of the most risky moves I’ve ever seen in two years on the show… [color=limegreen][b]<C: Buzzard Boyz>[/color][/b] Randy Reighard: *speechless What an amazing moment, Adam took a shot in the dark and made it, but unfortunately that kind of a guess can make you feel invincible, and his game came to a crashing end when he took another guess on the $250,000 question and was wrong, costing him $93,000 and tying Audra for the most money lost on one question for Season 2. But that kind of play is what makes a champion, as it was clear Adam wanted to go all the way, and I hope we get to see him back in the hot seat again.
